A reinterpretation of our favorite indigo staple in a new comfortable, classic design. Native indigo has been used in Mesoamerica for centuries for vestments of priests and noble lords, but the prevalence of chemical dyes nearly extinguished the plant and traditional dye process. Bluetiful, a group of San Salvadorian women, is now reviving this tradition, cultivating indigo and applying it with a resist-dye technique on the most soft and breathable cotton.
Irregular rectangles of indigo span its entirety, the cotton gets softer with each wear. Feel as incredible as you look wearing an ancient indigo art with a twist of modern design.
Stylist tip: a swing tunic with 3/4 length sleeves, v-neck, and hip slits for maximum movement.
Care instructions: Wash by hand in cold water.
