Short Himroo Two-Toned Jacket: Blue

An ancient sumptuous silk brocade, himroo, has been alive for 2,500 years in India until mechanized knock-offs brought it to the edge of extinction. Now, a monumental revival project in the city of Aurangabad is bringing the prized hand-weaving back to life. Ibu jumped at the chance to be a part of it. 

Stylist Tip: The complex design is woven by hand in a soft silvery white and rich cobalt blue with a pop of blush pink in the silk lining, constructed and to be a fitted silhouette.  The jacket can be dressed up or down - from jeans to a slim skirt.
