What if you wrote your journal - with thread? It might look something like this.
From the mountainous region of Western Myanmar (Burma), the Chin ethnic group carry a proud history of gorgeous textiles, as well as years of governmental abuse and consequent dispersal as refugees. Even among the Chin language, there are about 45 dialects - and one of them is surely the language of cloth. This story cloth tells of their daily life. The simple embroidery is striking and compelling; carrying firewood, growing corn, roasting a pig. A stunning throw hung over the back of your sofa in a casual room. Each is unique.
Care instructions: machine wash cold, tumble dry.
