Cotton reverse-appliqué molas have been crafted for generations by women of the Kuna indigenous group in Panama and Colombia. Now, after Kuna women joined forces with fashion power-house Mola Sasa under the creative leadership of Yasmin Sabet, they give us this creative, fun, and fancy free look that is exactly what we need to brighten our closets! The result is a smashing mola jacket in sophisticated black and brown appliqué with a subtle blush pink monkey reaching from front to back. Helping us to emerge from our state of "Creature Comfort" this little creature will do just the trick of accompanying you on any joyous adventure.
Stylist Tip: This is a structured over coat with bust darts, mandarin collar, and A-Line shape. The sturdy weight of this coat makes it ideal for cool weather and can be worn as an outer coat on chilly days and evenings. Due to the double layered fabric, this coat has substantial weight.
