Artisan Alliance

Last month we announced our latest initiative, Artisan Alliance,

an innovative, nonprofit, omni-channel retail ecosystem that prioritizes growth for our network of artisan partners.

Our artisans want the opportunity for scalable growth and while we will maintain an edited version of the products we currently carry, our plan is to shift Ibu retail operations over to a new brand, one that’s built to attract a wider audience by offering versatile pieces at a compelling price point—Artisan Alliance.

By partnering with the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), for this new initiative, we’re not only helping to ensure the livelihood of our artisan partners but we are helping to build the next generation of leaders in the fashion and creative industries.

Students will graduate with a personal connection to the practice of supporting artisan craft, laying the foundation for continued artisan growth for years to come, all started by this new retail initiative and fostered by the Ibu Foundation.
