When Dollars Make Sense 🌎

The Ibu Movement is buzzing this year—from the joy of our Holi Hai! celebration honoring the women of India, to new capsule collection drops and to the launch of our Artisan Alliance collaboration with Savannah College of Art & Design.
At every step, you—our community—have been part of the story. Whether purchasing from our marketplace, raising your paddle at our International Women’s Day fundraiser, or joining a Fringe Road Adventure, your support is fueling real impact around the world.
To date in 2026, the Ibu Foundation has directed $51,630 in cost-of-goods payments to artisan partners—income that goes straight into the hands of women building self-determined, sustainable livelihoods through their craft. Your purchases carry a message: that their work is seen, valued, and celebrated by women across the globe.
Beyond the marketplace, we’ve also awarded $68,625 in capacity-building grants to five artisan groups in Nigeria, Pakistan, India, and Peru. These funds are helping launch new websites, strengthen cooperatives, create workspaces, and preserve traditional techniques for future generations—investments that ripple outward to support thousands of women and their communities.
That’s over $120,000 just since the beginning of the new year and we’re just getting started.
Thank you for believing in this work and we invite you to explore a new collection, join us at an upcoming event, or make a gift—each is a meaningful way to continue this shared journey.
With Gratitude,
Lasley Steever
