Due to the nature of the ikat fabric dying process, ikat patterns are likely to change and morph up to 10% before they settle in their resting place. It is a personality trait of the iconic fabric - to avoid, take to a trusted dry cleaner.
This skirt is gorgeous! However a size small is more like an xxs. For reference, I wear a size 0 in J.Crew and a 2 in Tory Burch skirts and a 0 to 2 in dresses. I had to suck my stomach in hard to zip this up at the waist. I will definitely not be able to wear it out to dinner, as sitting after finishing a meal in it will be impossible. I would return it, but I bought it on sale. It is most likely going to end up getting consigned, because it doesn’t look easy to have it taken out a bit. So because of the deceptive sizing, I am only giving it 3 stars. The skirt itself is beautiful quality.
