BeadWORKS

BeadWORKS consists of 1,200+ indigenous artisans organized in 9 self-governed women’s groups—not factories— in northern Kenya. Income from their beadwork enables these artisans to increase their incomes without overburdening their fragile grasslands by selling sheep and goats.
