Ubuntu Life's artisans are a community of Makers and Maasai craftswomen united by the philosophy of Ubuntu — "I am because we are." What began with a small group of mothers learning to sew on manual machines has grown into a network of over 150 Makers and 800+ Maasai women, who bring generations of beading tradition to every piece they create.
