Maiz Handwoven Table Runner
Bring the depth of rich tradition and storytelling to any table setting with the artfully crafted table runner in Indigo. Handwoven on a traditional backstrap loom by artisan in Sololá, Guatemala, this unique runner features a white maiz, or corn, motif on an indigo background. In the jaspe (ikat) technique, threads are carefully tied and dyed, then meticulously woven to reveal a design that is often inspired by nature. This runner's maiz motif highlights the most significant crop for the Maya people, representing the very gift of life from Mother Earth to her children.

We’re not correcting poverty. We’re correcting a market failure: the systematic undervaluing of women’s work.
