When the Soviet Union was formed the people of Ukraine were forbidden to wear their traditional embroidery and now this art again, takes a stand and makes a statement. This dress was hand-embroidered by a woman in Ukraine who at times worked through power outages during a war, creating this single dress for Ibu. It holds a story. It holds immense power.
