An ancient sumptuous silk brocade, himroo, has been celebrated in India for 2,500 years until mechanized knock-offs brought it to the edge of extinction. Now, a monumental project in the city of Aurangabad is reviving the prized art of hand-weaving. Ibu jumped at the chance to be a part of it.

Stylist Tip: The complex design is woven by hand in a soft off-white and black silk with gold trim details, constructed and lined to a fitted silhouette. The jacket can be dressed up or down, from jeans to a slim skirt.
