Alongside a political prisoner in a Lima jail, Shelly Batt learned and taught the craftwork of horn and design. When her cohort was released from prison, she continued to go to the slums of Lima to work, creating a portfolio of singularly gorgeous, one-of-a-kind jewelry. This statement piece is the perfect addition to any outfit. Batt has taken cow horn, applied heat, flattened it, cut it by hand, and shaped it to the collar bone.
Stylist Tip: Finished with a unique matte look, each plate of horn in this collar is tied by hand with a metallic, industrial look, lending chick to a black turtleneck, a white tee, or a cocktail dress.
Care Instructions: Keep in a cloth bag when not in use. Polish with a dry cloth whenever cleaning is needed.
