A one-of-a-kind early 20th-century Amazigh-Berber amulet necklace from Morocco, hand-stitched in leather and adorned with cowrie shells. Traditionally associated with protection, fertility, and prosperity, cowrie shells have long held symbolic importance across North Africa. The amulet retains its original hand worked character, with aged leather, visible stitching, and naturally worn surfaces that speak to its history. Finished on a leather cord, it feels both intimate and sculptural.
